MiKiDo Foundation Visits Ecuador Once Again!

blog1

The MiKiDo Foundation, thanks to the Hess family and our MiKiDo family and friends, have made a HUGE life-changing trip to Ecuador once again. The MiKiDo Foundation has been donating to our orphanage in Ecuador "Valle Feliz" for now over 25 years! The nuns and staff that care for the children there, receive all of our generous donations every year with great love and appreciation. The look on the children's faces and the joy that it brings them is what makes everything worth while. We sincerely thank everyone here in our community in The United States, that help out to make this and every trip to Ecuador one that will be forever remembered. With Mrs. Maria Hess taking on the role of Program Director, The MiKiDo Foundation will be making an even greater impact in our community of Northern Virginia/DC area, as well as around the world!

Also, while in Ecuador, the Hess Masters' Mike and Brent taught a weekend seminar to one of the largest sports/athletic communities in all of Ecuador. Fernando Jaramillo is probably the biggest influence of Tae Kwon Do that Ecuador has seen as of yet. He holds many accolades and awards in the sport, as well as in his community for helping others. He was nice enough to host a seminar at his very large and beautiful facility in the capital of Ecuador. He is a family friend of the Hess' and said he wanted nothing more than to show his students and community the power, technique, and influence of MiKiDo. This was a great event for the community of Quito, Ecuador and yet another great moment in history for MiKiDo.
